We were recently asked by a client for a list of Historic Tax Credit projects we’ve worked on, so we prepared one, see: Chattel List of Historic Tax Credit Projects. This took some sleuthing online and in our office. We searched our digital files (we have had a server since 2003), and our hard copy files (prior to COVID we kept HTC projects in three-ring binders). We also visited the National Park Service Technical Preservation Services website. Thus, we have listed all the projects where NPS has provided a Project Number. This list does not include some old projects where Robert Chattel may have been the initial author or substantial contributor, specifically the Los Angeles Central Library, Bullock’s Department Store and Engine Company No. 28, in the 1980s when he was a planner at the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles.
